Welcome to Wanstead Golf Club

Established in 1893 our Private Member's Golf Club offers a warm welcome and a challenging 18 holes.

Set in beautiful parkland, the course has hosted many of the major events in the Essex County calendar and is the home of the prestigious Armitage Cup.

We are only a nine iron from Canary Wharf but you would not think it when playing our little oasis on the edge of the city. You will need a handicap certificate and knowledge of golfing etiquette, but we guess you would expect that from a long established club!

Corporate events as well as Golf Societies are very welcome and we currently have a limited number of memberships available. The Clubhouse can also be booked for social events, business lunches, wedding receptions and other family celebrations.
